College Scholarships and Financial Aid
Students are encouraged during their junior year to begin their college scholarship search.
The Guidance Office makes students aware of available scholarship resources and advises them in developing a "scholarship plan." College counselors inform students and parents of the process they must go through to obtain financial assistance from colleges and other sources. While a GSSM education does not guarantee scholarships to any student, the Class of 2007 was a good indicator of success, with 59 students amassing more than $9.2 million in offers.
