November 9, 2013 - Preview Day at the Governor's School for Science and Mathematics for current sophomores

January 20, 2014 - Preview Day at the Governor's School for Science and Mathematics for current sophomores

February 8, 2014 - Preview Day at the Governor's School for Science and Mathematics for current sophomores

February 15, 2014 - Admissions deadline for the class of 2016

March 8 & 9, 2014 - External Review Committee for applications

March 14, 2014 - Semi-finalist notification letters are mailed with detailed info about the Interview

March 22, 2014 - Semi-finalist applicants group interviews on campus

April 12, 2014 - Internal review committee for semi-finalist applicants

May 1, 2014 - Applicants notified of selection decisions for the class of 2016

May 2014 - Acceptance of the invitation for the class of 2016 must be received by GSSM's Office of Admissions

May 17, 2014 - Orientation for students in the class of 2016 and their parents

August 2014 - Class of 2016 arrives on the Governor's School campus
