Week-long residential summer camp on GSSM's Hartsville campus for rising 8th, 9th and 10th graders. Applicants must:

  • Be currently in 7th, 8th or 9th grade

iTEAMS Summer Camp

Four-day summer day camp in counties across the state for rising 7th and 8th graders. Applicants must:

CREATEng Summer Camp

Week-long summer day camp in the Upstate and Lowcountry for rising 9th graders. Applicants must:

  • Be currently in 8th grade
  • Attend school in a participating district

Accelerate Virtual Engineering Program

Three-year virtual engineering program for 10th, 11th and 12th graders in school districts across the state. Applicants must:

  • Be currently in 9th grade
  • Attend school in one of our participating districts
  • Project successful completion of Algebra II by the end of the
    9th grade

Governor's School for Science & Mathematics

Two-year residential high school in Hartsville, SC, for academically motivated juniors and seniors from across the state. Applicants must:

  • Be SC residents
  • Be in 10th grade
  • Have completed Geometry, Algebra I and II, a lab science and English II by the end of their sophomore year
  • Take the ACT, PSAT, PLAN or SAT before January of their sophomore year

The residential application is now closed. Applications for the Class of 2017 will be accepted in Fall 2014.
