Friends for Life

Tuesday, January 29, 2013 - 9:27am

One of the most amazing things about attending GSSM were the friendships I made. The close quarters and shared experience of such a high-demand school situation, as well as the shared experience of being "the best" of SC, made for such easy bonds with each other, bonds that for me have lasted since high school. I am still in constant contact with at least five other Govies, and I am the godmother to the daughter of one of them.

One other very neat thing that I now appreciate about GSSM is that it was a great intermediate step between living at home and going to college, both in terms of coursework/class schedule and of responsibility and maturity. Going to GSSM was one of the best decisions of my life!
