How GSSM Gives You "More"

When I applied to GSSM 20 years ago, I was looking for more: more opportunities…more challenges…more people like me. And that’s exactly what I found. Attending GSSM was the most difficult and most profitable decision I have ever made. It was hard to leave my family and friends…and my #2 status at my home high school. But as soon as I visited the school and sat down in the cafeteria with a current student, I felt the camaraderie that I desperately was seeking. Today, the opportunities, challenges and people have only gotten better! After spending several years teaching, I accepted the opportunity to work for my alma mater and now serve as the Director of Recruitment for the GSSM Foundation. I am so thankful for the opportunities presented to me since graduating from GSSM and I want to make sure that every student in South Carolina knows about this amazing incubator where they, too, can get more!
