Students are encouraged during their junior year to begin their college scholarship search.
The Guidance Office makes students aware of available scholarship resources and advises them in developing a "scholarship plan." College counselors inform students and parents of the process they must go through to obtain financial assistance from colleges and other sources.
While a GSSM education does not guarantee scholarships to any student, the Class of 2007 was a good indicator of success, with 59 students amassing more than $9.2 million in offers.
