Setting up FirstClass

FirstClass is GSSM's first source for campus information, email, announcements, and scheduled events.  Install it on your computer using these steps:

  • Download and install the FirstClass software for your computer.  Windows, Mac, and Linux clients are available here.
  • Start FirstClass.
  • At the FirstClass login page (right), click the Setup button.
  •  In the Server: field, enter the FirstClass server name: firstclass.gssm.k12.sc.us (shown below).
  • Click the Save button at the bottom of the window when you are done.
  • Enter your FirstClass User Id and Password to login.
