Support GSSM
The GSSM Foundation exists solely for the purpose of supporting the needs of the Governor's School for Science and Mathematics.
Each year school leadership submits a prioritized list of needs to the Foundation which raises the funds necessary to meet these needs by obtaining cash contributions from individuals, businesses and other foundations. In addition, the Endowment for Sustaining Excellence -- created by the GSSM Foundation -- also provides substantial support to the School annually.
In 2007-08, the Foundation will fund the following GSSM needs:
- Summer Program for Research Interns (SPRI)
- Summer Science Program (SSP)
- GSSM Scholarships
- Academic Support and Enhancements
- Marketing Campaign
- Music Instruction
- Globalization Instruction
- Technical Support for Information Systems
- Coker College Library Partnership
- Globalization Partnerships
