  • First page of family's 2010 or 2011 W-9 tax return (only if applying for a scholarship)

Acceptance
Acceptance to the GoSciTech program is based on academic achievement of students entering the 8th, 9th and 10th grades. Students who have demonstrated scholarship in science and math and desire an academically challenging experience in science, math, computer science, technology or engineering are strong candidates.

Program Costs
Tuition for each course is noted on the Schedule & Fees page. Tuition covers meals, lodging, staffing and all other related educational materials, unless otherwise noted. Students may bring a small amount of money for concession machines and other extracurricular expenses (evening pizzas, Wal-Mart trips, etc.).

Payment Deadlines
A $200 non-refundable deposit is required within two (2) weeks of acceptance into GoSciTech in order to secure your class preference. Full payment is due three (3) weeks before the student's camp start date. If full payment is not received on or before the payment deadline (see payment chart below), the student may be withdrawn from the class and will not receive a refund of previously paid funds. To secure the course selection, early payments are encouraged. Please make checks payable to GSSM, with the camper's name written on the ledger line.

Refunds and Cancellations
Program fee refunds must be requested in writing before May 18. If a class is cancelled for any reason, students will be given the option to transfer to another available class or receive a full refund of all tuition paid. All inquiries should be directed to Susan Engelhardt, program director.

Scholarships
Families interested in applying for scholarships may do so within the GoSciTech application. A limited amount of full and partial scholarship money is available and is awarded using a need-based formula. If applying for a scholarship, please send a copy of the first page of the family's 2010 or 2011 W-9 tax return, along with all other application materials.

Scholarship applications are currently being accepted with a rolling deadline. Scholarships are being awarded on a first come/first serve basis.
