GSSM Foundation Receives Merit Award from International Association of Business Communicators-South Carolina

The South Carolina Governor's School for Science and Mathematics (GSSM) Foundation recently was awarded a 2007 Palmetto Award of Merit from the South Carolina chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC/SC.)
The IABC/SC chapter hosts an annual awards program to recognize outstanding achievements in communications and to foster professional development among communicators. The awards program includes opportunities for communicators to compete in categories such as publications, design, writing and electronic communication campaigns.
The GSSM Foundation was recognized in the category of "Communications Campaigns and Programs" for its 15th Annual Townes Award Dinner invitation and program.
The GSSM Foundation serves as the marketing and fundraising arm of the South Carolina Governor's School for Science and Mathematics, which is located in Hartsville.
