College Placement and Counseling

The counselors of GSSM are always on hand to help students with problems from homesickness to homework and beyond.

They will help students decide where to apply to college, register for the SAT and ACT, look for scholarships and apply for financial aid.

The Guidance Department aggressively seeks out a wide variety of college recruiters to visit the campus. As well, the staff works closely with students to identify scholarship opportunities. GSSM students are very competitive candidates, and those who work hard are rewarded well.

In addition to their academic and college placement responsibilities, GSSM guidance counselors are also available to help students with personal concerns.
