Responsibilities: Manage multi-layer division to include
all aspects of student life-in-residence. Areas currently include
Student Services (residence life supervision and activities, clubs,
discipline, health), personal and college placement counseling,
athletics and admissions.
Start-date target is May 1. The selected candidate will replace the
incumbent who is retiring in June. This is an executive level,
12-month State of South Carolina position.
Qualifications: An advanced degree in counseling, psychology,
education or similar field is sought. A minimum of five years of
successful experience in a residential secondary institution is
preferred as is experience managing multiple people across multiple
disciplines. Experience in gifted and talented secondary education is
highly desirable.
