AI Faculty Fellows

We believe our teachers lead our students to innovation, invention, safety, and confidence when learning and creating with technology. The A.I. Educator program starts with the A.I. Faculty Fellows. This group of talented GSSM faculty are prepared to become A.I. education experts who support and encourage their colleagues across the state.  This Fellowship will learn together and assemble a bank of free resources for any K-12 teacher to implement in their classroom.  Every teacher can bring A.I. and data science into their classrooms, and this group will help provide the resources and support they need to feel empowered to do it. 

 

Outreach STEM Opportunities

"This inaugural cohort of the A.I. Faculty Fellows is the first step in the GSSM Outreach Center’s efforts to bring educator development on A.I, data science, and integrative STEM to the teachers across the state of South Carolina. This is a talented, passionate, and experienced group of educators committed to embracing A.I. and data science. Thanks to the generous support of Google, the work this Fellowship will do over the next three years will change the landscape of A.I. and data science in classrooms in all grades and subject areas. The resources from this initiative will support teachers as they provide students with the skills they need to excel in every career path, making the students of SC ready to fill the SC careers of the future. "
