ENGAGE

Engage Your Creativity. Delivered by GSSM’s Center for Science Education & Outreach, ENGAGE is designed to impact students through early interest and awareness of STEM studies. Early experiences with STEM are shown to help build students’ confidence with new technologies.

Join in the fun! Discover the world of microcontrollers, electronics, and engineering!

Get ready to dive into the exciting world of electronics, coding and engineering through hands-on projects using Arduino microcontrollers, breadboard circuits, and Tinkercad! In this course, supported by GSSM's Govie student leaders you will learn the fundamentals of physical computing. Are you ready to unleash your creativity and start building and programming circuits and games? Let's embark on this thrilling journey together!

ENGAGE is a multiple-session in-person program in which students will use critical thinking skills and deductive reasoning to explore the science and technology behind real-world problems as they work through mini-challenges while learning skills used to create their own project. This is an introductory class, no prior coding or electronics experience is required.
