That's why we offer STEM Day at GSSM and STEM Days on the Go - two flexible outreach programs designed for students in grades 3-10. These experiences are standards-aligned, free of charge, and led by our expert instructors and trained facilitators.
STEM Day at GSSM
Grades 3–10 | You bring your students to us
Give your students a day of immersive STEM experiences on our state-of-the-art campus.
GSSM’s STEM Day is a half-day event that brings hands-on, age-appropriate STEM activities to elementary schools across South Carolina. Led by GSSM’s Outreach team and trained facilitators, your students will rotate through a series of fun, interactive stations focused on core STEM concepts. Activities are designed to be accessible, engaging, and aligned with SC science standards.
- Hands-on STEM labs in engineering, chemistry, physics, and more.
- Campus tour and GSSM student-led exploration.
- Lunch in the GSSM Dining Hall.
- Opportunities to meet GSSM students and faculty.
