Delivered by GSSM’s Center for Science Education & Outreach, SPARK! is designed to inspire an early interest in and awareness of STEAM studies. In a variety of stand alone after school workshops, 6th, 7th, and 8th graders follow their interests to learn the science or math concepts behind daily questions or curiosities. Participants will have the opportunity to connect with GSSM residential students who will serve as instructors and role models.

In a variety of stand alone virtual after school workshops, 6th, 7th, and 8th graders can follow their interests to learn the science or math concepts behind daily questions or curiosities. Each class lasts one hour and serves as an introduction to advanced subjects while exploring science or math concepts behind everyday questions and the real world.

TIME: 4:30 PM – 5:30 PM
WHERE: Virtual
COST: A student’s time and willingness to learn new things!
Space is limited to 25 students per virtual session! Each class is only offered once per semester, with new classes offered in spring and fall.
