How to Apply

Acceptance to the GoSciTech program is based on academic achievement of students entering the 8th, 9th and 10th grades. Students who have demonstrated scholarship in science and math and desire an academically challenging experience in science, math, computer science, technology or engineering are strong candidates.

Students must submit their 2021-2022 first-semester report card within the online application. Applications are not complete until the report card has been submitted.

If applying for financial aid, the first two pages of the family's 2020 or 2021 1040 tax return (black out any Social Security Numbers), along with all other application materials, will need to be submitted to the online application. Please make sure the 1040 that is submitted is claiming the child(ren) who are requesting aid. Financial need is not taken into consideration for acceptance to the GoSciTech program. Fax items to 877.700.0325.  The financial aid application is not complete until the tax information has been submitted.

A limited amount of need-based financial aid is available to residents of South Carolina. To apply, complete the financial aid section of the application before April 15. Need-based assistance is awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.  The financial aid deadline has been extended until all aid is distributed.
