Sent on behalf of Vice President for Finance and Operations, Mr. Brock Heron:
Dear GSSM Community,
I am writing to inform you of two employees of GSSM who tested positive last week for COVID-19. These employees are following the isolation protocol as recommended by the CDC. To maintain the privacy of our colleagues, the identities will remain confidential. Any close contacts at GSSM have been notified. Please note that no students have had close contact with these employees.
We wish these members of our community a speedy recovery. As we continue to navigate this unprecedented pandemic together, we are deeply committed to transparency and our response protocols. The GSSM community's safety is of our highest priority and know we will continue to take prudent steps in maintaining that. If more positive cases appear within our GSSM community, we will continue to notify the community directly.
With our students are back on campus, we ask that you please remain diligent in maintaining social distancing, wearing a face-covering, frequently washing your hands, and screening yourself for COVID-19 symptoms before entering campus each day. Please review the procedures we have put in place to minimize risk for all staff and students. By being disciplined around these practices, we are protecting everyone's safety and aiding in the prevention of spreading COVID-19.
If you have any questions, please contact GSSM Human Resources at firstname.lastname@example.org.
