Autodesk AEC Sales Account Executive

PURPOSE:  The candidate chosen for this position will be responsible for  managing and growing existing accounts and developing new accounts in the Architecture/Engineering/Construction (AEC) market for TPM.  This position will create and sell design and output solutions built around products from vendors such as Autodesk, and others along with services to support and implement these products within a client’s organization.  The position is located in Charleston, SC or Columbia, SC and will have a geographic territory in the Midlands, Lowcountry and surrounding areas.
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Successfully be able to cultivate and maintain business relationships as well as develop new ones.
Be able to understand the AEC environment, the challenges that go on within that environment, and how our solutions fit.
Manage a solution sales process from prospecting and lead generation to the close of the opportunity and followup after the sale.
Be comfortable creating and presenting solutions to small to large groups.
Manage and plan local user group communities.
Join and become involved in local professional organizations.
Creatively be able to design non-traditional solutions for client’s.
Meet and/or exceed sales quotas for TPM and our vendors.
Complete forecasts in a timely fashion.  Be able to discuss the pipeline and opportunity, as well as define the plan to close the deal.
Document all client discussions/activity in Saleslogix.
Perform other duties as assigned or required.
 
QUALIFICATIONS:  The ideal candidate should have
3 years of outside sales experience.
Proven ability to manage a solution sales process from prospecting to close.
Proven ability to grow revenue from existing accounts and to win new accounts.
Proven ability to increase revenue from a geographic territory.
Maturity to work without much direct supervision.
Proven ability to meet quota’s and targets.
Ability to meet with Executive level contacts as well as production level contacts.
Organization skills to be able to plan and execute that plan.
Experience in the AEC industry preferred.
Excellent computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook )
Experience with CRM or contact management systems.
