Job Responsibilities:
The Lead Sales Operations Consultant position is data analyst role on the data science and analytics team in the Business Technology Solutions (BTS) sales channel. You will perform a wide variety of analytical tasks, ranging from developing sophisticated predictive models, designing complex database queries, building reports in Excel, and creating data visualizations. The core mission of the team is the extraction of actionable information from the data.
 
You will also:
Design innovative approaches to view and interact with data for analysis and visualization
Develop predictive models to address various business problems through leveraging advanced statistical modeling and data mining techniques
Develop dashboards and data visualizations to communicate meaningful metrics to different audiences within the business 
Communicate findings through internal reports, executive summaries, and oral presentations
Key areas of focus include performance measurement, improvement, and forecasting for the subject areas of gross sales, sales productivity, solution selling, customer churn 
 
Basic Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., statistics, economics) or 3-5+ years of equivalent work experience in an analytical position
Experience with data analysis/mining and turning data into actionable insights
Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
Proficiency with a statistical scripting language like R and a business intelligence/data visualization tool like Tableau
Reporting proficiency in CRM system such as Salesforce
Intermediate to advanced Excel and Access skills; proficiency in the rest of the Microsoft Office suite
Solid foundation in statistics (e.g., regression, hypothesis testing, model selection)
