Inbound Marketing Intern - Cognito Forms

VC3, a dynamic information technology services organization headquartered in Columbia, SC has an opening for a hands-on Inbound Marketing Intern for our Columbia, SC office. This exciting opportunity will be focused on marketing VC3’s internationally available cloud product, Cognito Forms, with inbound marketing being a critical factor.  We are a tight-knit group of web developers and designers working in the “Famously Hot” Columbia, SC.  We have been designing and building cutting-edge websites and web-based applications since the beginning of time—actually, just since the beginning of the Internet in the early 90’s.
 
The ideal candidate will be a technically competent, hands-on, self-starter with strong communication skills and a passion for inbound marketing.
 
Responsibilities:
write clear and persuasive copy for feature pages, help topics, blog posts, and marketing emails; revise, edit, and proofread blog posts and copy written by other team members; manage blog post backlog and schedule upcoming posts; identify external websites to promote or share our content
manage our social media accounts by writing Twitter posts, Facebook updates and Google+ posts; track competitors social media, identify and monitor social media keywords, and manage mentions; actively engage followers in a dialogue in an effort to create advocates for our product; stay up-to-date with social media trends and emerging platforms
become an expert on our product and respond to customer inquiries via our support system and external forums
identify new strategies for driving users to our website
be a team player and be invested in the overall success of Cognito Forms
 
Requirements:
currently pursuing a bachelor degree business, marketing, or related field
relevant marketing experience, in particular B2B marketing; social media, promotions, online marketing, and copywriting a plus
natural ability to relate to customers and prospects
knowledge of marketing, sales, and development processes
problem solving and analytical thinking skills
exceptional written and verbal communication skills
 
Other:
Foosball and Ping-Pong skills a plus!
