Responsibilities
 
IT Supervisor – Integrated Security Operation Center position is available in the Information Services & Technology department of SCANA Corporation at the headquarters campus in Cayce, SC. The ISOC Supervisor will supervise a team of individuals responsible for providing enterprise defense operations, monitoring, analyzing, and processing real-time threat information as well incident response. Familiarity with all facets of Cyber Security is a must. Provides leadership in the execution, implementation and operations of cyber security related practices such as recognizing potential successful and unsuccessful intrusion attempts and compromises through reviews and analyses of relevant event detail and summary information. This supervisor is expected to be able to work with all stakeholders, participate in setting the strategic direction for the corporation’s integrated security operation center efforts and lead the tactical accomplishment of resulting security goals.
 
Qualifications
 
Candidate must have at least five years of experience in supervising or supporting a cyber-security operations center or technical infrastructure and a proven track record managing large projects. . The successful applicant must have a detailed understanding of security architectural components such as DMZs and authentication methods, plus knowledge of security technologies such as virtual networks, IDS/IPS, network flow analysis, network forensics, traffic sniffing and tunneling protocols.  Qualified candidates must be able to work in a team environment with their staff, peer supervisor, business leaders, and business staff. Good communication skills and excellent customer service skills are required.
 
Working knowledge of key regulatory cyber security-related requirements such as CIP v3 and v5, PCI, HIPAA, and/or nuclear standards is strongly preferred. Experience with SIEM products and other logging tools are preferred.   Experience in the implementation of Network Access Control, MPLS, 802.1x, Access control servers, firewalls or wireless  IDS is a plus.
 
Educational requirements:
Bachelors Degree and 4+years of job related experience or an Associates Degree and 8+ years of job related experience or High School Diploma and 12+ years of job related experience.
Previous experience as a Team lead, large project lead or Supervisor is considered a plus
