AgFirst Farm Credit Bank, a growing agriculture lender with over $30 billion in assets, is seeking a Mail Services Assistant. The Mail Services Assistant is responsible for providing day-to-day Mail Center support, and delivering the highest quality products, services and support to the bank, associations and association customers as efficiently and effectively as possible.  Responsibilities include identify, sort, batch, and route interoffice and incoming mail; operate standard Mail Center mail processing equipment; prepare, receive, and track parcels for UPS, FedEx, and USPS (Priority Mail, Express Mail, and certified and registered mail); prepare and meter outgoing mail; maintain existing logs, databases, and other Mail Center records.  Responsible for reconciling the USPS, FedEx and UPS accounts.  Additional responsibilities include stocking office supplies and copy paper at the Bank’s walk-up copiers located throughout the building; operate various print shop binding equipment; fulfill orders from the on-line marketing collateral store, and conduct monthly inventory of such products.  Incumbent must perform multiple tasks across the following areas: product knowledge and expertise, administration, accounting operations, and technical support.  Incumbent must be able to work well within a fast-paced team environment, as well as independently.  When needed, will coordinate and communicate initiatives between department staff and various service vendors.  Will adhere to all HIPPA requirements, and maintain borrower confidentiality.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma.
  • 2 years of operating knowledge of mail center, output distribution and print reproduction equipment in a business-like atmosphere.
  • Strong attention to detail; takes directions well.
  • Ability to work well as a member of a team, as well as under direct supervision, in a fast-paced environment.
  • Promptly responds to requests for services and assistance; asks for and offers help when needed.
