Marketing Automation Specialist
BoomTown is looking for a marketing automation ninja. As part of our Marketing team, the Marketing Automation Specialist will help users implement and deliver marketing projects. You will be responsible for helping to gather key business requirements and then assist Marketing members in mapping and executing those requirements in the automation platform. A deep knowledge of automation, process, data management and best practices in marketing are needed. Additionally an understanding of Salesforce and CRM integration is required. The Marketing Automation Specialist reports into our Demand Generation Manager.
Build campaigns and lead-nurturing programs and flows, understand how each piece of the puzzle works on a microscopic level
Execute on tactical tasks associated with customized landing pages, e-mail campaigns, forms, and lead scoring rules
Analyze performance results by segment, campaign, classification, and other key slices of our market and customer base
Coordinate elements from multiple teams to execute on deliverables for marketing campaigns and projects
Advise marketing campaign requestors of best practices with regard to marketing automation capabilities, testing and projected results to achieve maximum efficiency
Build and implement “trigger-based” nurturing programs in an automation system that target all stages of prospect development, from cold nurtured leads to engagement to closed opps to expansion.
Proactively maintain the data integrity of our marketing database including establishing rules and operational campaigns to regularly scrub the database
Monitor automation system usage to ensure business rules are being adhered to.
2+ years of previous experience in a related role
Experience with an automation platform (i.e. Pardot, Marketo, Hubspot, Eloqua), specifically with Emails, Forms, landing pages, templates, campaigns and reporting
Strong database management (segmentation, reporting and maintenance)
Independent problem solver who proactively seeks out ways to improve the quality of our database and works with various stakeholders (including marketers, sales operations, etc) to drive continuous improvements
Experience of CRM integrations
Ability to ensure a high level of accuracy despite deadline pressure
Ability to meet tight deadlines using strong multitasking and organizational skills
Ability to excel both independently as well as part of a team
Strong analytical skills
Excellent support skills
