This position will be based in Charlotte, NC.
 
Businesses that partner with Google come in all shapes, sizes and market caps, and no one Google advertising solution works for all. Your knowledge of online media combined with your communication skills and analytical abilities shapes how new and existing business grow. Using your influencing and relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google's key clients and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.
 
The Fiber Sales team promotes to MDU (residential) and MTU (commercial) property owners, managers and developers. As a Sales Manager you will hire and manage a team that evangelizes the Google Fiber solution. You excel at team development, sales training and market strategy. You’ll enable your team to meet or exceed quotas by cultivating new accounts and maintaining relationships with strategic partners. You’ll also act as a senior sales executive and help the team manage contracts and agreements. You have a strong understanding of the competitive landscape and can think creatively to win new partners in highly competitive markets. Your feedback from the field will help the Product team to bring the best solutions to market.
 
Responsibilities
Lead and motivate sales team members in promoting Fiber as a solution to MDU owners, property management companies, and large SMB (Small to Medium-sized Business) owners.
Lead sales meetings, offering creative sales strategies to achieve quarterly goals for sales representatives.
Help create and implement the strategy for entering new markets.
Utilize Salesforce and other systems/tools to measure and report on team activity and partner performance.
Identify and rollout new opportunities for partners. Be the voice of the partner to product and engineering teams.
 
Minimum qualifications
BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
7 years of sales experience.
5 years of Sales management experience with 1 year of lead generation/telemarketing experience as an individual contributor.
 
Preferred qualifications
Experience selling Fiber to the Home (FTTH) services to MDU owners/property management companies and small to medium businesses and/or property management/developers.
Experience with Salesforce.
Ability to deliver results under pressure
Excellent organizational, analytical and influencing skills.
Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
