Software Engineer

As a Software Engineer on Blackbaud's product development team, you will use your programming and problem solving skills to develop solutions for nonprofits of all shapes and sizes.  You will develop applications to assist nonprofits with their fundraising, financial, educational, and business needs, helping them save time and stay focused on their missions.  Using your strong technical foundation and passion for learning, you will continue to broaden your technical skill set through training, research, and challenging development opportunities. 
 
Want to work closely with passionate, creative, successful technology experts?  Our product development team is a close knit group.  All of our new engineers are paired with a mentor and go through a training program focusing on the technologies we use.  We work together, collaborating daily in an agile, fast-paced, fun environment. 
 
 
Blackbaud is looking for students who have:
A B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or Engineering 
A desire to make positive contributions in a team environment that will impact the world
A diligent work ethic and the discipline to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate solutions
Experience through a co-op or internship with an OO language
Knowledge of relational databases is a big plus
