Academic Awards Ceremony

The South Carolina Governor’s School for Science and Mathematics (GSSM) Academic Awards Ceremony is an annual tradition celebrating students who demonstrate outstanding scholastic achievement, leadership, and service. Held on campus each spring, the event brings together faculty, families, and peers to present dozens of honors, including academic department awards, nationally recognized book awards, and prestigious scholarships. It serves as a proud showcase of student dedication and a moment to honor the exceptional talents that define the GSSM community.
