BIO
Fionia Washington is currently serving as the Vice President of Finance and Business Operations/Chief Financial Officer. Fionia partners with the president to develop and implement GSSM's financial and operational policies and processes. As a member of the senior leadership team, she represents and speaks for GSSM to key constituencies, including state legislators and GSSM Board of Trustees. She lives in Santee, SC with her daughter, Kayli and her Cane Corso, Tank.
Prior to joining GSSM, Fionia served in the Air Force and has over 15 years of program management, budgeting, and human resource experience. Fun fact: Fionia is also a licensed practical nurse. She has a passion for community engagement and budgeting.
