Dr. Brown joined the GSSM staff in 2018 and brings a wealth of experience in research and instruction to the school. As a college professor, Dr. Brown promoted undergraduate research into chemical interactions affecting climate change and the removal of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. His work was funded by the National Science Foundation and the American Chemical Society. He continues this research program with GSSM students.
