There are no tuition charges at GSSM, just a meal fee and one-time security deposit. No student will be denied participation in GSSM’s residential program due to inability to pay fees—financial aid is available.Fees and Financial Aid
Sent on Behalf of Interim President, Dr. Ershela L. Sims:
Dear GSSM Families,
The Residential Spring plan was approved by the GSSM Board of Trustees (BOT) on November 19, 2020, and by the Office of the SC Superintendent of Education on November 20, 2020. You can find a copy of the plan here. Special thanks to the members of the GSSM Taskforce and the BOT Ad Hoc committee for all of their hard work and support. Moving forward, the school will be forming an Implementation Committee to finalize spring preparations. Additional details regarding the spring semester will be shared with families in December.
As always, we will continue to monitor public health conditions and DHEC data in the spring to ensure we follow safe, current procedures. We will modify these plans as necessary. Thank you to our employees, students, and families for your continued support, commitment, and dedication to the GSSM mission.
