I have worked at both public/private and large/small colleges and universities. Most recently I was an assistant director of admission at Furman University in Greenville, SC.

Tell us what you love about working at GSSM.

I love that everyone involved with GSSM is so passionate about the school, our students, and the opportunities that GSSM provides to young people from across the state. When everyone cares this much then you know something special is happening!

Are you a member of any professional organizations?

Please list and describe any personal information you would like to share.

Competitive tennis player (played in college), very below average curler (joined a league in Greenville but not sure that will be an option in Hartsville)...2 sisters, 1 brother, 1 niece, 1 nephew, 0 pets (for now), 2 bicycles...

What would your students be surprised to learn about you?

In my career in college admission, I have traveled to almost all 50 states!

What is your perfect pizza?

N.Y style, thin crust, pepperoni....the type of slice that you can't eat without folding in half!

What's the best thing about Hartsville?

The best thing about Hartsville is that there is a wonderful mix of old and new here. There are restaurants like Ruth's that have been staples in Hartsville for generations, and there are new buildings/parks/restaurants that are opening all the time.

What's your favorite quote?

"You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose. You're on your own. And you know what you know. And YOU are the one who'll decide where to go..." - Dr. Seuss
