The use of masks among employees indoors is voluntary with the following considerations:

  1. Wearing a mask indoors is recommended for those who have not been vaccinated and those who have compromised immune systems.
  2. Please be sensitive to requests from those who may have health situations which necessitate mask-wearing.
  3. Employees should wear a mask indoors when in the presence of students who are required to wear masks.
  4. Due to federal regulations, masks are still required to be worn by all bus riders, including those who may have a DHEC waiver on file.

Campus visitors are required to wear masks indoors and must comply with all COVID-19-related check-in procedures.

Employees who are working at facilities not managed by GSSM may be required to follow local COVID-19 protocols that are different than GSSM’s protocols.

To ensure the safety of the GSSM community, we will continue to monitor COVID-19 developments and may make further adjustments to COVID-19 safety protocols as conditions allow or require.
