Technology-based summer camp at W.J. Keenan High School
On June 20, 2016, the South Carolina Governor's School for Science & Mathematics (GSSM) will kick off its iTEAMS Xtreme day camp for Richland County students. iTEAMS Xtreme will be held June 20-23 at W.J. Kennan High School for rising 7th and 8th graders who have a strong interest in computer science, technology and entrepreneurship.
iTEAMS Xtreme is a four-day camp designed to inspire students to pursue careers in STEM fields through hands-on, team-based projects. Working cooperatively, and using the latest technologies to solve problems, students will create mobile apps, interactive objects and 3D models. The camp will serve up to 60 middle school students.
