GSSM holds its 30th Annual Research Colloquium on Saturday, February 9th starting at 10am on GSSM's campus in Hartsville.
Seniors will present the results of research conducted over the summar as part of GSSM's Summer Program for Research Interns (SPRI) and its international Research Experience Scholars Program (RESP). Families, scientists, and friends will be on campus to support students as they present their research in a formal setting.
Colloquium is one of GSSM's oldest and most celebrated traditions, connecting students and alumni to the school's first years. As part of the tradition, Juniors will serve as marshalls, timers, and facilitators for the day.
Colloquium gives seniors an opportunity to make their presentations in front of an audience and to answer often-challenging questions in preparation for presenting their research at the 92nd Annual SC Junior Academy of Science (SCJAS) meeting on March 30.
Here is the complete presentation schedule for the day.
The event is free. Please register at www.scgssm.org/colloquium.
