GSSM Seniors Present Research Projects at the South Carolina Junior Academy of Science

HARTSVILLE, SC- On Saturday, April 17, seniors from GSSM presented research projects at the South Carolina Junior Academy of Science (SCJAS). Due to the pandemic, SCJAS was held virtually for the first time in its 90+ year history.

“The presenters represented the school and themselves well,” said Josh Witten, Director of Research & Inquiry. “The judges were extremely impressed with the quality of the presentations and research projects. All presenting students should be very proud of their efforts.”

Of all presentations, these GSSM students were selected for special recognition:

Biochemistry, Botany, Cell and Molecular Biology, Zoology (Mentored)

Chemistry (Mentored)
