Introduction to Arduino
In this class, students will explore the exciting world of electronics, coding, and engineering through hands-on projects using Arduino microcontrollers and breadboard circuits.Supported by GSSM Govie student leaders, students will learn the fundamentals of physical computing, including inputs and outputs, analog and digital signals, circuits, sensors, LEDs, push buttons, and coding basics using the Arduino programming environment and Tinkercad Circuits. Through interactive challenges and creative design projects, students will build and program working circuits such as LED dimmers, reaction games, and multi-light systems while developing problem-solving, computational thinking, and teamwork skills. No prior coding or electronics experience is required.
