There are no tuition charges at GSSM, just a meal fee and one-time security deposit. No student will be denied participation in GSSM’s residential program due to inability to pay fees—financial aid is available.Fees and Financial Aid
Dear GSSM Families,
I am writing to provide you with a very recent update that I just received from the SC Department of Education’s Chief Communications Officer. Per a joint statement that Governor Henry McMaster and South Carolina Superintendent of Education Molly Spearman released today, South Carolina’s schools will remain closed for the duration of the month of April. At this time GSSM Residential students will continue to take their courses via virtual instruction through the month of April or until further notice.
We will still observe our regularly scheduled Spring Break, which will begin after classes on Friday, April 10th. Spring Break will run through Sunday, April 19th, with classes resuming on Monday, April 20th.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through this very unique situation. GSSM will continue to monitor this rapidly changing situation and respond based on guidance received from public health officials. We hope that you and your family are remaining safe and healthy during these challenging times.
