Our general information session is a great way to get an overview of GSSM’s unique approach to learning, the campus community, and the admissions process from one of our admissions counselors. These 45-minute sessions allow for plenty of time to also have any of your questions answered through an online chat feature.

Join the admission team along with special guest to learn more about GSSM! Get the inside scoop from students, parents, or alumni of GSSM as each monthly event will feature one as a special guest to give you a personal perspective. The admissions team will provide information on how you can apply with our Rolling Admissions process. It’s Never Too Late to Grow Exponentially!
Our Admissions Workshop Series is designed to allow you to learn directly from our admissions staff on important focused topics related to the admissions process. Our counselors will guide you through each topic and be available to answer any questions you may have as you prepare to apply to GSSM. (15-30 min.)
Similar to our general information sessions, but will focus on clubs, sports, housing, music, etc.
Meet virtually or over the phone with your GSSM Admissions Counselor. You will learn about the application process, academics, campus life, and extracurriculars at GSSM. You will have the opportunity to ask questions to the first person who will view your application. (15-30 min.)
You provide your students with invaluable guidance throughout their high school career. We hope to work alongside you, supplying you with information and updates about our Residential program and GSSM that will be of use as your students and institution. Register for virtual events, and find the resources to help your students prepare for GSSM.
The South Carolina Governor's School for Science and Mathematics (GSSM), the South Carolina Governor's School for the Arts & Humanities (SCGSAH), and the newest Governor's School for Agriculture at John de la Howe (JDLH) are hosting Endless Opportunities, joint virtual information sessions for students and families who are intersted in learning more about our schools.
