What’s the best thing about working at GSSM?
The best thing about GSSM is acceptance. GSSM places concentration on the student's overall success in academia, connectivity, community, and wellbeing while accepting everyone. GSSM is a beautiful prism, shining through the student body, with a dedicated faculty and staff assimilating for the prevailing purpose of individual student triumph.
What is your perfect pizza?
The perfect pizza consists of ham, cheese and pineapple.
Who inspires you and why?
My husband, Steven, because he is my biggest supporter and inspires me through his hard work and dedication, while pushing me to be a better person and never accept mediocrity. My mother, Jean, because she continually pushes me to never give up; while both jointly inspire me with their never failing love.
What’s the best thing about Hartsville?
Hartsville is a small family friendly, loving community continually supporting families and friends in their endeavors, where no one is a stranger.

If you could invite any historical figure to dinner, who would it be, and why?
Jean Piaget because of his profound influence on psychology, especially the understanding of children's intellectual growth. His research contributed to the growth of developmental psychology, cognitive psychology, genetic epistemology, and education reform.
Care to share something about yourself that others would not expect?
I lived my entire life in WV, before moving to SC in 2018. I am a huge college football fan and unicorns and glitter make up my happy place.
