How to Apply to GoSciTech - Residential

How to Apply

Acceptance to the GoSciTech - Residential program is based on academic achievement of students entering the 8th, 9th, and 10th grades. Students who have demonstrated scholarship in science and math and desire an academically challenging experience in science, math, computer science, technology or engineering are strong candidates.

The parent or guardian of a student must complete the online application and submit the student's first semester report card for the application to be complete.  Applications are now open!

Applications are not considered complete until the first semester (Q1 & Q2) report card is received for the current 2023-2024 school year.

If applying for financial aid, the first page of the family's 2022 or 2023 1040 tax return (black out any Social Security Numbers), along with all other application materials, will need to be submitted to the online application. Please make sure the 1040 that is submitted is claiming the child(ren) who are requesting aid. Financial need is not taken into consideration for acceptance to the GoSciTech - Residential program. The financial aid application is not complete until the tax information has been submitted.

Financial aid deadline is April 15, 2024. Additional assistance may become available after the deadline, so please check with the camp director if the deadline has passed. Financial assistance is awarded on a first-come, first served basis, using a need-based formula.

For special circumstances, paper applications are available by contacting the Center for Science Education and Outreach at 843.383.3958.
