GSSM welcomed the Director of the Duke Energy Center for Innovation, Ben Chastain, to campus for this week's SmartChat. Mr. Chastain explained the role of the Center in Hartsville and encouraged students to consider an entrepreneurial future in South Carolina. Who knows? Maybe the next big thing will come from GSSM's student body!

Current junior Wil Carpenter shares his story about selecting, implementing and successfully completing his Eagle Scout project all while beginning his time at GSSM.
