GSSM's Residential and Dual Enrollment Programs are entirely tuition-free. Some camps have tuition and fees. Financial assistance is readily available.

Residential High School
Once students are invited to become members of GSSM, parents are provided financial aid information and fee payment instructions at New Student Orientation in May.

- Tuition - $0
- Student Meal Fee - $3,200 per student per year
- One-Time Refundable Security Deposit - $100, requested once the student accepts the invitation to GSSM; the deposit will be refunded at the end of the senior year, minus any charges for damages

Fees may be paid in full or in monthly installments. The first payment is due by the first week of August. GSSM accepts credit card payments (online only), and checks.

No student is denied participation in GSSM’s residential program due to inability to pay fees. Due to generous private support, financial aid is available for all eligible families.
Our admissions are need-blind, meaning that ability to afford fees is not considered in a student's application.
We use guidelines based on the National School Lunch Program when calculating financial aid eligibility.
Dual Enrollment Program
There are no fees associated with the Dual Enrollment Program.
Summer Camps & STEM Experiences
While there are fees associated with GSSM camps, there are no fees associated with the following programs: ENGAGE STEM Workshops, GSSM Elementary Programs, Inside GSSM Family Day, SPARK! Middle School Workshops, STEM Scholars Saturday Learning Experiences.

Summer STEM Virtual Camp
Tuition covers instructors and materials for projects, unless otherwise noted. Tuition for each course is published in the course directory each February.
A $25 non-refundable deposit is required within two weeks of acceptance into Summer STEM program in order to secure your course preference.
Full payment is due June 1st. Students may be withdrawn from their course and will not receive a refund if payment is not paid by the due date.
GoSciTech Overnight Camp
Tuition and fees covers course instruction, materials, meals, and overnight lodging. Typical tuition levels are $800-900 per week an are dependent on the course you select. Course schedules and fees are posted in February.
A $200 deposit is necessary to reserve a place in the camp. Full payment is due three weeks before the student's camp start date.
If full payment is not received on or before the payment deadline, the student may be withdrawn from the class and will not receive a refund.
CREATEng Day Camp
There is a $225 fee for this camp. This includes all instruction, supplies, snacks, field trip fees, a t-shirt for each participant, and a pizza lunch on the last day of camp. Each year we offer an early bird discount.
iTEAMS Xtreme Day Camp
There is a $230 fee for this camp. This includes all instruction, supplies, a t-shirt, snacks and a pizza party on the final day of camp. Each year we offer an early bird discount rate.

Summer STEM Virtual Camp
Due to generous private support, financial assistance is available to eligible families on a first-come, first-served basis.
South Carolina families interested in applying for financial assistance may do so within the Summer STEM Virtual Camp application.
The financial assistance application deadline is April 15 but may be extended until all funds are awarded. Additional assistance may become available after the deadline, so please check with the camp director if the deadline has passed.
Financial assistance is awarded on a need and first-come, first-served basis.
GoSciTech Overnight Camp
South Carolina families interested in applying for financial aid may do so within the GoSciTech application. A limited amount of financial aid is available and is awarded using a need-based formula.
If applying for aid, please upload the first two pages of the family's 2020 or 2021 1040 tax return (black out any Social Security Numbers), along with all other application materials, to the online application. The financial aid application is not complete until the tax information is submitted.
Please make sure the 1040 that is submitted lists the names of all children for whom the family is requesting financial assistance. The financial aid application deadline is April 15 or until all funds have been awarded. Financial aid money may be available after the deadline, so please check with the camp director if the deadline has passed.
Financial aid is awarded to eligible families on a first-come, first-served basis.
CREATEng & iTEAMS Xtreme Day Camps
Thanks to the generous support and sponsorships from businesses, individuals, and foundations, scholarships will be available to eligible students for these day camp programs.
Families who are interested in applying must complete the financial assistance section of the program application.
