Engage Your Creativity. Delivered by GSSM’s Center for Science Education & Outreach, ENGAGE is designed to impact students through early interest and awareness of STEM studies. Early experiences with STEM are shown to help build students’ confidence with new technologies.
Did you know that electricity travels at the speed of light? Or that a spark of static electricity can measure up to 3,000 volts? Have you ever wondered how you can control electricity? Or wanted to create a circuit board?
ENGAGE is an eight-session program in which students will use critical thinking skills and deductive reasoning to explore ways to create electrical circuits using various materials. Activities will center on the fundamentals of electrical circuits through breadboarding and electronics.
