The GSSM Outreach Center's summer camps challenge rising 6th - 10th graders in a fun and collaborative environment where hands-on STEM learning is celebrated. Students choose from a variety of topics, empowering them to interact with like-minded peers as they grow as scientists and engineers. GoSciTech offers three types of immersive STEM experiences - residential, day, and virtual - designed to engage and challenge students who are interested in STEM. Rising 8th through 10th grade students explore over 20 unique STEM courses, led by college, university, and GSSM professors in this six-day residential camp on the GSSM campus. Students experience Govie life while they live in our residence halls, learn in our labs, and eat in our dining hall.
Rising 6th through 8th grade students at partner sites throughout South Carolina work to develop their problem-solving skills in this four-day camp while exploring engineering, technology, and other sciences. Each course is designed by GSSM instructors who partner with talented local professionals to deliver exciting opportunities across the state.
Rising 6th through 10th grade students can join this virtual five-day camp from wherever they have an internet connection! Instructors lead twice-daily live sessions and students collaborate with their peers while exploring STEM through at-home projects.
