Engage With Us

Lots of opportunities, and they begin here.

Once a Govie, Always a Govie

An event for alumni and parents to share their GSSM experiences through an online platform.

Govie Talks

Our general information session is a great way to get an overview of GSSM’s unique approach to learning, the campus community, and the admissions process from one of our admissions counselors. These 30-minute sessions allow for plenty of time to also have any of your questions answered in person in your area!

Eagle Campus Tours

A GSSM campus tour is a great way to get a feel for what it’s like to be a GOVIE. We’ll guide you through campus and show you what makes GSSM like no other! Tours are offered every hour from 10a-4p.

Govie Tips

Our Admissions Workshop Series is designed to allow you to learn directly from our admissions staff on important focused topics related to the admissions process. Our counselors will guide you through each topic and be available to answer any questions you may have as you prepare to apply to GSSM. (15-30 min.)

More than STEM - Extracurricular Activities, Athletics, Art & Music

Similar to our general information sessions, but will focus on clubs, sports, housing, music, etc.

Govie Confidential

Meet virtually or over the phone with your GSSM Admissions Counselor.  You will learn about the application process, academics, campus life, and extracurriculars at GSSM.  You will have the opportunity to ask questions to the first person who will view your application. (15-30 min.)

Virtual Resources for High Schools

You provide your students with invaluable guidance throughout their high school career. We hope to work alongside you, supplying you with information and updates about our Residential program and GSSM that will be of use as your students and institution. Register for virtual events, and find the resources to help your students prepare for GSSM.

Endless Opportunities

The South Carolina Governor's School for Science and Mathematics (GSSM), the South Carolina Governor's School for the Arts & Humanities (SCGSAH), and the newest Governor's School for Agriculture at John de la Howe (JDLH) are hosting Endless Opportunities, joint virtual information sessions for students and families who are interested in learning more about our schools.
