Have you ever wondered what it would take to live on another planet? In this 8-week course, you will take on the role of NASA engineers charged with developing a sustainable colony on Mars. Working through project-based, hands-on challenges, you will explore civil, biomedical, and aerospace engineering as you strive to protect human life from the harsh environment of outer space. - All Girl Web Design (8th, 9th, 10th, grade) Mondays, Sept 19 - Nov 7
- Have you ever wondered how websites are made? Do you know how easy it can be to learn how to design your own website? In this course partnered with the SCGSSM Women in Computer Science club, we will learn about the different processes that go into making a website exploring HTML and CSS. Then, students will code and design their own personal websites like blogs, online personality quizzes, and more! No coding experience is required. This program is focused on creating an inclusive environment where female students can feel supported and empowered as young women in STEM.

Have you ever wondered how computers work? Like humans, computers have their own special way of communicating, known as code. With today’s rapidly evolving technology, coding has become increasingly important to learn. In this 8-week courses, you will learn how to use Python to code so you can communicate with computers. During the last few weeks you will do individual projects using your own ideas to come up with a unique program. Join us as we explore one of the most popular and powerful programming languages, Python!
