A RESTORATION ECOLOGY PROJECT
This hands-on course teaches students about ecological restoration and asks them to put their knowledge and skills into action, working on real, live restoration projects. While students participate in restoration efforts at two sites throughout the semester, our primary project since the course began in 2023 is in collaboration with Kalmia Gardens. Here, we are actively restoring native vegetation in a small patch of land next to the Joslin Education Center, which we've affectionately termed "the W.E.B".
