More STEM Opportunities
As one of the leading high schools in America, GSSM is committed to positively impacting teachers and students across the Palmetto State with innovative and challenging Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) education opportunities.
ENGAGE Middle School Workshops
ENGAGE is a series of after-school workshops designed to impact 6th-8th grade students through early interest and awareness of STEM studies. Students explore topics related to programming and engineering and interact with student leaders from GSSM's residential program.
SPARK! Middle School Workshops
SPARK! is designed to inspire early interest in and awareness of STEAM studies. In a series of after-school workshops, 6th, 7th, and 8th graders follow their interests to learn the science or math concepts behind daily questions or curiosities. Sessions are conducted virtually and in person.
GSSM Elementary offers science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM) programs for students in 3rd-5th grades. The programs also support teachers in delivering content aligned with the SC science and mathematics curriculum standards and the Next Generation Science Standards.
Inside GSSM Family Day
INSIDE GSSM provides families with the opportunity to interact with the GSSM community and explore the campus while participating in a variety of interactive demonstrations and learning experiences designed for all ages.
