GSSM Senior Wins First Place in High School Youth Art Month State Showcase

HARTSVILLE, SC – GSSM Senior Haleigh Gartner has won first place in the high school division of the Youth Art Month (YAM) state showcase for her artwork Purple Juice II.

"The open art studio at GSSM is an inviting, unique space where students like Haleigh Gartner take time to connect to their creative spirit and develop an authentic, life-long appreciation for the arts", says Ms. Patz Fowle. "It is thrilling to collaborate with some of the brightest students in the state and to observe first-hand the creative passion and growth of the leaders and innovators of tomorrow."
